Wealth Management - Canadian Division has launched a new HNW business unit (Manulife Private Wealth). Our mission is to provide Advisors and affluent clients with a comprehensive suite of financial solutions delivered through a primary relationship manager and supported by a team of professionals. Manulife Private Wealth will leverage the products, platforms, and operations of many of Manulife's existing businesses to deliver an integrated offering of banking, investment, trust, life insurance and other wealth management solutions to HNW clients.
The Director, Wealth Banking is a senior relationship and sales position focused on the delivery of banking solutions and planning services to high net worth clients. Key deliverables include: conducting broad Discoveries for each client and adherence to the Manulife Private Wealth Integrated Sales Process; all due diligence on credit requests including consumer and commercial analysis; delivery of full suite of banking solutions; financial planning expertise.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Trusted Advisor to High Net Worth Clientele including ongoing Relationship Management of individuals and their Families
Delivery of cash management services, credit, investments, planning and support around succession and inter-generational transfers
Effective risk management of a banking portfolio including prudent monitoring of overdrafts and credit facilities
Coaching and mentoring to junior banking colleagues
Expert level Discovery skills across a broad spectrum to uncover individual and family needs across banking
